North Carolina Climate Action Network is an intergenerational
community of grassroots activists from North Carolina committed to
reducing our carbon footprint on the Earth.
Our mission is to
raise the awareness of climate change impacts, and to motivate change
in our region through networking and our actions.

The largest initiative of NC CAN at the moment is the Youth Climate
Action Project. The North Carolina Youth Climate Advocacy Project
(NC-CAP) is made up of youth ages 12 - 20 who want to learn the facts
on global warming, find their voice on this issue, and send a united
message to local and national leaders. You can be a part of the
solution to global warming! The time to take action is now, and we need
your voice and energy to make a difference in this global challenge.
